爱自游 - 泰国曼谷3天2夜 Love Travel - Thailand Bangkok 3D2N

Thailand Bangkok - a huge and modern city humming with nightlife and fervor.  A cultural phenomenon, shopping heaven and tourist treasure, one of the most cosmopolitan, contrasting and, above all, compelling of Asian cities.

Today, I'm gonna post my past trip to Thailand Bangkok on last year 17 March, 2012.  Although was a past trip but still a memorable trip to me.

This trip was a short trip only stay for 3 days at Bangkok.  Not much doing at Bangkok for 3 days.  It's quiet rush for me to this trip.  So, not planned to go those exquisite temples.  We planned to go shopping and the new attraction at Bangkok 'Wax Museum' on that time but still can consider new though was last year.

In order to save time, we took a night flight to Bangkok on 16 March, and reached Suvarnabhumi airport around midnight. After exiting immigration, we took a taxi to our hotel for a good night rest before starting a good journey the next day !

On our first day in Bangkok, we went to Chatuchak market via a taxi, and had our brunch there. Chatuchak is a very huge open space market selling alot of stuffs, and it's easy to be lost inside as all the stalls looks the same. We just stroll around Chatuchak for few hours and took a taxi back to hotel to rest and recharge before our next destination.

While in the hotel, I took some photos with my plush toy "Choco", the first plush toy that my boyfriend (now husband) give to me, I also took some photo together with Choco.

The next destination is the famous wax museum, which consider quite a new attraction in Bangkok. We decided to take the complimentary tuk tuk from our hotel to the nearest train station "Nana", and took a train to Siam station, where all the luxury shopping mall district. The wax museum is located there.

photo smileycamera2_zpsdd35e614.gifTook alot of photo inside the musuem, and also as we bought a package, we been entitled for a hand wax, in which we dip our hands into a hot wax to create a wax hand for souvenir, it is quite painful process as the wax is really hot.

We decided to walk over to Century mall for our dinner, while on the way to Century mall, we pass by the famous 4 face buddha infront of it, we had our buffet dinner inside Century mall, the buffet was not really nice though. After our dinner, we walk around Century mall, searching for the ice rink and find it quite disappointed as the rink is really small and squarish size, only suitable for kids. We found that there's a "Build a bear" store in Century mall and we bought a pink hello kitty there, we named it as "Pinky". As we are very tired for walking the whole day, we decided to take a taxi back to our nest to rest.

The 2nd day in Bangkok, basically another shopping trip, as usual in the morning we will take the hotel's tuk-tuk to Nana BTS station, and today's agenda is full of shopping at those famous wholesale mall....Pratunam area. We went over to Pratunam and Platinum mall for the whole morning and afternoon. There's tons of stalls and too many things, however not all stalls are cheap, as most of them are doing wholesale, you need to purchase 3 item and above only entitle for further discount. After our shopping session, we went to the underworld at Siam station, the aquarium is located inside a shopping mall, quite an eye-opener to us.

The last destination would be a spa !! We definitely need a spa, and everyone who visit bangkok will go for their spa or massage to complete the trip. As it was a very last minute one, most of the ones we visited already fully booked, we walk around Siam area and luckily we found one of the spa still able to take walk-in customer. We booked a 3 1/2 hour couple spa with them and it was really a nice one. After enjoying our spa, we took the train back to Nana, and had our dinner at an Italian restaurant.

The 3rd day in Bangkok, we went to MBK in the morning, just to walk around and do some last minute shopping, and back to hotel to check-out before 12pm and grab a taxi to the airport. As there's ample time in airport, we shop around in the airport and bought a "butterdog" shirt for our small goofy plush and another plush toy named "Mocha".
